Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week's teaser come's from The King's Druidess by Sky Purington
Her voice rose about the thunder of waves. "It will be as you Brigit, Goddess of Divination. In the circle of stones beneath the oak, I have come and I will wait."
She touched his bare chest. His skin felt hot, as if he burned with tightly restrained energy. "Were we not still in machdacht, children when we met last."
If she's that loud I don't think I'd keep her waiting for too long beneath the oak :)
