Sad but true. I have been known to read the end before the beginning, I can't take the suspense sometimes! I don't do it all the time, but every now and again I will.

Skimming is a whole other topic. I will skim, but only if I am really bored. I want to know if the story is going to be worth finishing so I skim to see if the plot picks up. If not, I won't finish the book, if it does pick up, I will probably go back and reread what I skimmed.

So no worries, you are not alone in this. I think many of us are guilty of one or the other from time to time. :)Meaghan from A Bookworm's Havenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05506839292232453378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6378052033492773315.post-24386839789708680922011-02-17T17:21:09.960-05:002011-02-17T17:21:09.960-05:00I don't actually read the whole ending like ma...I don't actually read the whole ending like maybe the last chapter I don't do that just take a peek of last couple pages or so.BLHmistresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17760348905228169738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6378052033492773315.post-60715493938942243232011-02-17T16:54:37.846-05:002011-02-17T16:54:37.846-05:00My friend used to always read the end before she e...My friend used to always read the end before she even started the book. l used to think "what's the point?" At the beginning of a book, I try and stick with it in case I miss something. But by the middle if it's slow, I figure its just slow so I'll skim.

As far as reading the ending...no. I really try not to. It's not that knowing the ending would stop me from reading, but I try to let the author take me where they want me at their own time. I try. If the story is at a really good part and the chemistry is boiling between the couple, I'll skim the boring stuff to get to the dialogue. Problem is sometimes I miss important stuff so I have to go back and read. If I'm in a naughty mood, I'll skip to the "good" stuff *wink wink* No skimming there!Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05574870908305001085noreply@blogger.com
