Should I or Shouldn't I Kindle, Nook or some other brand Ereader

I am hoping I was good enough this year to get an ereader of some kind but if I don't I plan on getting one after Xmas. So I wanna know what do you all suggest? Kindle, Nook or any other kind. Let me know what you think. I need your help. There are so many to choose from....

I have a Kindle 3G and a Kindle Fire I love them both equally! I tried a Nook Color and hated it, it went all possessed on me. I reviewed my Kindle so if you wanted to check out all the reasons why I love my Kindle Click here to check it out

I have the kindle app on my ipad, but I got one of the new kindles for my birthday (not the fire) and I love it! I prefer the display of the kindle because there's no glare and I love how thin and light it is. I always shop amazon and you get tons for free, plus they always have sales on kindle books for cheap.

I have a Kindle and I love it, although I wish it would light up so I don't have to use my reading lamp.

I have a Kindle also and I love it. It reads real easy and the battery last forever. Plus all the great book deals you can get and they make downloading so easy.

I been leaning towards a Kindle but not sure which one to get? what's the difference between 3G and just regular wifi? And is the touch screen better than the keyboard?

I've got a kindle. I never use the keyboard (or 3G for that matter, but I can see that it might be handy on holiday). Battery lasts ages too.

Guess part of its down to preference :)

Hey honey - I can't give you an opinion on the Kindle since I don't have one but I've heard nothing but good things about that device. The good thing is if you are into self published authors its easier to have a kindle since Amazon is the site allowing the self publishing.

I have a Nook and I hated it at first. The model I got was defective and kept freezing on me. Once they replaced it and gave me a new one I love it. It's easy to use and lug around. I have the original Nook so it's not a touch but that's fine with me. I don't need anything fancy.

Not sure how much that helped cause I think I just started babbling there..lol. Anywhoo--hope you get one for Christmas.

LOL its okay to babble I do it all the time :).

Thanks for your input - still not sure which one I want to get but I think it might be Kindle of some sort because I do the majority of my shopping on Amazon.
