Q: If you could "unread" a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?
I would have to say Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon, I know most of you are all tired of this answer but I just love this book so much. Sherrilyn puts so much into it that I felt every emotion known to man with this book.
I cried(buckets),laughed(til my sides hurt), screamed(actually wanted to throw this book at my wall that's how angry I got). Not with the writing just how angry I was with certain characters. And to me that is the making of an awesome author.

Isn't that book and his character just awesome, I am so in love with that book. It's a hard read(on the emotions that is)though.

You should the book is amazing as well as the author, its a huge series but don't let that intimidate you. They all can be read stand alones.

Hi. New follower and new to the hop. Is the Sherrilyn Kenyon you mention the same as the author of the Chronicles of Nick series? If so, I love her work on the Chronicles of Nick. Very engaging. Great teenaged male character she has created in nick.

Yes she is, I haven't gotten to her Chronicles of Nick yet, but that's her YA spin off of the Dark Hunter series I love so much.
She creates wonderful characters
So do I when books do that then I am a fan for life usually. And this book as long with the series has done just that.

I have read it twice already but plan on it again ;). I have the hardcover version too. IT's huge but I flew threw it like it was a novella.

Does she have any great stand alone novels? (Is the one you mentioned a standalone?) I don't think I can commit to another series any time soon.

It's part of the Dark Hunter series, can't remember exact what number it is though.
Though its part of a series, all her books can be read stand alone, she always goes over what is going on and how the Dark Hunters were made and such. It's a huge book, part one is of his past and its what makes my heart break. part two is present. He is the leader of the DH. So it goes in depth of how the Dark hunters came to be.
