Before you embark on your erotic tour of Transylvania, the Eternal Love Corporation has put together this helpful guide to answer some of the most common questions about vampire sex tourism.

Topics include:

- What if my vampire bites me?

- Shouldn't this tour be in Forks, Washington?

- Why can't my vampire get an erection?

And many more!

Review:
This book was such a fun, quick actually no it was an hilarious read. I hadn't laughed this hard with a book in a long time. The book is formatted in questions and answers, each answer gets funnier as you turn the pages.

Yes it pokes fun at vampire romance lovers such as I, but it didn't bother me at all. I loved it so much. At first I thought I wanted to the erotic tour being talked about in this book, until I read on. I think I will skip this one. I rather have my dream vampire thank you very much.

Now some of it could be taken as offensive, but if you take this book as it's meant to be then you will enjoy it like I did.

The exciting sequel to Immortalis Carpe Noctem.

Rule number one: humans and vampires don't co-exist. One is the hunter and one is the prey. Simple, right? Not for newly-turned vampire Alyssa. A surprise confrontation with Santino Vitale, the Acta Sanctorum's most fearsome hunter, sends her fleeing back to the world she once knew, and Fallon, the human friend she's missed more than anything. Now she has some explaining to do. However, that will have to wait. With the Acta Sanctorum hot on their heels, staying alive is more important than educating a human on the finer points of bloodlust.

Review:
The problem with sequels, they sometimes don't live up to the first books excitement or vice versa they are better than the first. What I found with this book is that, it is just as good if not better. It picks up where we left off in the first book. Alyssa, still adjusting to life as a vampire when Santino, the hunter chases her back to her old world. That is one thing she is still having trouble with letting go.

Again I could feel the confusion this character is experiencing through out this book, and her stubbornness as well as her potential for trouble finding her is what draws me to a character like Alyssa.

What can I say about Lysander, you already know how much I love him. I felt sorry for him a bit in this one with all the trouble Alyssa was getting into. As for all the other characters they are back, I love Drew and Nicholas(though he is a bit rough around the edges),Crystal and Rozaline as well as Alyssa's Best friend and only human, Fallon. I love the whole cast of characters, they mesh so well together.

This book was a fun ride and left me craving for more, I can't wait to read Pandora's Box and then Soulstone. I am just hoping there will be more after that. I just can't get enough of this series. It's definitely feeding my series addiction.

Becoming a vampire is easy. Living with the condition...that's the hard part.

Rescued from a brutal mugging on the college campus of UNLV, 25 year old Alyssa is initiated into a frightening, eternally dark world she never knew existed. The world of the vampire.

Stricken with cravings of blood, and forced leave behind all she knew, Alyssa struggles with the change. And Lysander, her sexy but aloof sire, is the only one who can help guide her.

There's no turning back now. It's either, Carpe Noctem, or final death.

Review:
I read a couple of Katie Salida's books before and fell in love with her style of writing, so I knew I had to get this series. She didn't disappoint, in fact I think I became even more of a fan of hers.

The story draws you in from the very first page and doesn't let go until the very last page. The fact its written in first person is even better, yes you read this right I actually am becoming a fan of first person. What, at least to me is unique, is that you get to experience what its like to be turned and what happens and how the changes effect Alyssa.

I felt every emotion Alyssa felt, from confusion, to anger to finally acceptance. She is a tough, subborn but yet still vulnerable vampire. Lysander, oh how I love him, he is all I want in a vampire, broody, stern but you do eventually get to see his vulnerable side as well. If I had a maker he would be the perfect one to have.

Would I recommend this book? Yes, without a doubt, if you love vampires and wondered what it's like to be a newborn vampire, combined with action, and romance. This book is for you. I already read the second book and can't wait to dive into the 3rd. One thing I hope is that, this series continues on for a long time.

Redemption by Jennifer Turner : Guest Post and Giveaway

We have a special guest today on BLH, Jennifer Turner, who is the author of Redemption. Please give her a warm welcome. To say thank you for all that visit today she is giving book thongs to those who comment.

People look at me funny when I say things like, “I totally love violent romances.” Maybe it’s because I look like I grew up in a small town and do my own canning (oh, hey, I do!) Either way, they just aren’t expecting me to be so enamored of all things undead, romantic, and breath holding.

When I started writing Redemption I vowed to write what I wanted to, what the story wanted. No longer would I let my fear of reactions or editors keep me from doing the book I really wanted. I’ve been crazy about horror and romance for the longest time and I found myself planted directly down in urban fantasy. I might have gone the paranormal romance angle, but I’m sure romance fans would have wanted more than I offered. Still, there’s a deliciously intense romance between Savvy, a half-angel, and Nico, a half- demon. Talk about sizzle!

Overall I think I did a bang up job creating this world. I love the action and the forward momentum in the book. My hope is that my readers will enjoy watching Savvy kick-butt and fall in love. Not to mention figure out the nature of good and evil and whether or not she gets her redemption in the end.

Thank you so much for visiting with me today. Throughout the day I’ll be offering book thongs to those who leave a comment. You might be one of the lucky ones!

Warmly,
J.R. Turner

Back Cover Blurb:
Half-angel Savannah Mantas smells the sulfuric stench of wrath when it enters her city, Iron Point. Resurrected by the archangel Michael, she's hunting for redemption and half-demon Nico Montenegro is her prey. He comes from the Fringes, the border between the city and the toxic wasteland beyond.

When they meet, Nico tells her a story, one of genocide and confiscated bodies. Not revenge, but justice is his purpose and his target is the most admired family in the world-Commander Hathaway and his daughter.

Hathaway's soldiers are slaughtering Fringers and secretly feeding them to Revenants, mutants who survived the bio-bombing of 2120. They have a twisted idea they can train these clever creatures like dogs and keep them out of the city long enough to mobilize an evacuation for the wealthy and well-connected.

Savannah knows better. Revenants are what killed her. When they attack, the last of humankind may be wiped out completely. Stopping Hathaway might just be enough to gain her redemption and escape a hellish fate.

J.R. Turner is the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Writers Association. Annie Hynes is a tomboy. Naïve and love-starved, she’ll soon to be celebrating her big 3-0. Something needs to be done! Celi, her ‘down-to-earth’ guardian angel appears to help kick-start Annie’s big change—her looks, her job, her whole life. By taking a managerial position with a sophisticated shoe manufacturer, Annie becomes embroiled with her new associates and hooked on the power of big business. Unfortunately, her exhaustion from overwork forces her to ignore old friends, and her lapse places someone she cares about in terrible danger.

Social Worker, Tyler Jones, previously hurt in two relationships, signals disinterest in women, and only wants Annie in his life as a good buddy. Oh yeah! And to help with his mixed-up street kids. Perversely, once her life alters, he misses her like hell. In one sweet night of loving everything changes. But, due to an overabundance of nightcaps, she doesn’t remember the night he can’t forget

Review:
Here is another author I haven't heard of before until I bought my Kindle. I have to say I haven't read too many angel books which is surprising in itself really considering how much I love the paranormal. But let me say I am glad I pushed the buy button on this one.

Annie, who's life seems to be going nowhere then all of a sudden a guardian angel pops into her life literally to help her straighten or at least give her the courage to make some changes in her life. Tyler, her best buddy doesn't like the changes he is seeing. He wants his ole Annie back.

I really loved these characters, it was written so well I could connect with them almost immediately. Annie, she breaks out of her shell and makes the changes only to find maybe they weren't what she really wanted after all. Tyler, oh how I love him, though he didn't like what he saw from Annie he tried his might to support her.

There was a couple unexpected twists which I didn't see coming but that just made it better in my opinion. Overall this was a fun ride and I hope to continue it with the next book.
