I would Like to welcome Ty back, she took the time out of her busy schedule to guest post on BLH today and also has graciously gave me permission to giveaway my E ARC to one lucky winner.
I would like to say on a personal note, Ty was one of my first author interviews and reviews so without further rambling here is Ty.
I love writing strong female characters. Am I talking Superwoman? Nope, but writing them with
flaws that all of us have from time to time makes them relatable.
I love writing about them finding love to at times even having to conceal who they are to protect
the people they love the most.
Olivia has been one of my favorite characters to write for this very reason.
In my novella, By Sunset-A Dragon Races Tale, Olivia is a lady-in-waiting for the Kingdom of
Kergan.
She is beautiful, loyal and if necessary would give her life to protect the Kergans.
But Olivia has a secret, one that could potentially rip apart the relationship she has with her
beloved Kergan family.
Tell me, who are some of your favorite female characters in books and why?
Now I am sure you want to know what's up for giveaway?
Blurb
As a lady in waiting, Olivia of Kergan believed in Destiny...
For the royal family she serves, her destiny is fated in winning what was lost to them so long ago.
Will a mysterious stranger, whose hell-bent on revenge, prevent her and master Julian, from taking what is rightfully theirs.
Here is my review and interview with Ty.
I am so excited, this is my first giveaway, and I am going to make it simple just answer Ty's question and leave your email so I can contact you if you win. The giveaway will last one week so it will end on March 30th and I will announce the winner on the 31st.

My favorite all time female character would have to be Beatrice Lacey from the Wideacre Trilogy by Philippa Gregory. I was so drawn to her. She was pure evil, but there was something about her that made it impossible to hate her! I also love Catherine from Wuthering Heights. She's the love she and Heathcliff shared is everlasting.

I love characters that are human and have flaws. I'm not sure specifically which female character is my favorite...maybe Jo from Little Women.
I love Jo too...Thanks everyone. Great characters so far!
Thanks Donna for having me!
My favourite female character in a book is Scarlett O' Hara in Gone With The Wind. Although there were moments when I hated her for her selfishness, her flaws made her more human and I found that I was able to relate to her strongly in certain parts of the book.

Great interview Donna now my answer...
One of my favorite female character is Clare in Cleo Coyle's Coffeehouse series. She is independent and takes care of herself as the same time she has faults and loves.
I found your blog through BookBlogs. I love it! Will you follow me at www.MagicalUrbanFantasyReads.com
I "Like" your facebook page and I am following you on twitter.
I don't want to be entered in the give-a-way because, after all, I am a Lover right? But, I do want to answer the question. One of MY all time favorite female character is Emily Benedict from Sarah Addison Allen's The Girl Who Chased the Moon. She just reminds me of myself as a teenager, trusting, sweet (yeah, I was) and naive. On the opposite end of that rainbow would be Scarlett O'Hara from GWTW. Talk about a major procrastinator! But you just got to love a girl who is worried about nothing but herself until she is forced to open her eyes.
Great guest interview! It was so lovely to "meet" you Ty! I hope to see you around more often.
Who is gonna win huh huh????
I love Betsy from the Betsy~Tacy series, I think because I always wanted to be her. I was so jealous of her high school life. It just always seemed like she had so much fun!
I would have to say my favorite female characters a females who are strong, can fight for themselves, doesn't need much protection but still has a touch of "human" to them such as Elena from the Guild Hunter series or Ellie from Angelfire

Love that cover!
My favorite heroine is Mercy Thompson. She can take care of herself, but isn't above asking her friends for help. A kick butt heroine without being too "perfect."
You don't have to enter me in the contest :)
