I don't really have a favorite Halloween myth. A favorite myth of mine, that I'm not sure is true is about the headless horseman. There is a place not far from where my sister and nieces live in Ohio that my nieces tell me that on one back road there is supposedly a headless horseman seen at certain times of the night.
There a myth here in Ireland that I like about the Dearg Due – the Irish vampire the Dearg Due (meaning red blood sucker) a female demon who seduces men and drinks their blood, she rises every Halloween luring men to their deaths with her beauty

I really don't have a favorite myth, bu I do like the one that vampires do not cast a reflection in a mirror.
