This Week's Question is: Inspired by the inane Twitter trend of "#100 Facts About Me," give us 5 BOOK RELATED silly facts about you.

I'll try hard here for the "silly" thing.

1. I love munching sweets while I read; Good & Plenty being my crack of choice IF I let myself which is rarely because I can't stop!

2. I MUST use a book mark. I never dog ear my books or crack spines or anything like that. My books stay in almost pristine condition.

3. I um ::looking around:: will take my books with me into the bathroom. ::blushing:: I have to use every spare moment to read right???

4. If a book is really good for me, I'll stop and read slowly and savor every word, sentence and paragraph.

5. While I appreciate the eye candy on romance novels, I really wish that there were no pictures on covers. Just the title or something. That way I could whip out a book in my doctor's office and not feel embarrassed by the half naked man on the cover and I won't have any preconceived notions of the characters by what is on the cover.

Book Blogger Hop

This Week's Question is: "If you could physically put yourself into a book or series…which one would it be and why?"

Oh what a lovely question to contemplate. BDB, Dark Hunter, The League, Sookie...there are so many delectable choices! I think though that I would like to slip myself into the body and world of Cat from the Night Huntress series. To spend some time with Bones would be just a sensory overload for me. He's uber hot is he not? Yeah, I think that's where I'd want to go. The why? Um...Bones. Hello? Need I say more?

18 and over book blogger tag along is for a specific group of book bloggers. 18 and over book bloggers primarily have on their blog book reviews and post of adult content. In other words, if you read books like erotic and adult romance and have adult pic. then you can play tag along. Sorry YA readers, but if you read both (I know some of you do) you can tag along also.

Question of the Week: Where is you favorite place to buy or swap books?

I have always loved Amazon. I love reading the reviews, I love the never-ending selection, I love the set up, I love how easy it is to purchase and I love how fast my shipments arrive. BUT, because I just bought my nifty new Nook, I am switching my loyalty over to Barnes and Noble. For me, this should be a great thing because I have a local brick and mortar store as well. To have BOTH worlds at my fingertips? Lovely I tell you. Lovely.

Kelly's: TOPIC THURSDAY

BannerFans.com

Hello loyal reader!!! I'm back! We're giving Donna several days off now (finally) after she rocked the fairies around here. Although, she has some special (and really amazing) features coming up soon so you'll see her.

So today is Topic Thursday. I'm currently in the process of reorganizing our Goodreads group. If you haven't joined us yet on Goodreads, you really should. We have a great group of girls there that are VERY chatty. We have some truly belly laugh moments over there. ANYWAY, I digress. In reorganizing the group and talking about it with a few different people, it has been brought to my attention that I'm a very organized person. Maybe a touch OCD in the organization area. I HAVE been known to do some crazy organizational things in my past. When I was pregnant (many years ago) I alphabetized my CD collection. ::blinking:: I did. I might even be persuaded to do it again.

So my questions to you are these: How organized are you? Is it a good or a bad thing to be organized? What's the most crazy organizational thing you've ever done?

C'mon. I want to know if I'm in good company or not.

PS - I finally got my Nook Color!

Ty Langston Guest Post and Giveaway

I would Like to welcome Ty back, she took the time out of her busy schedule to guest post on BLH today and also has graciously gave me permission to giveaway my E ARC to one lucky winner.

I would like to say on a personal note, Ty was one of my first author interviews and reviews so without further rambling here is Ty.

I love writing strong female characters. Am I talking Superwoman? Nope, but writing them with
flaws that all of us have from time to time makes them relatable.

I love writing about them finding love to at times even having to conceal who they are to protect
the people they love the most.

Olivia has been one of my favorite characters to write for this very reason.

In my novella, By Sunset-A Dragon Races Tale, Olivia is a lady-in-waiting for the Kingdom of
Kergan.

She is beautiful, loyal and if necessary would give her life to protect the Kergans.

But Olivia has a secret, one that could potentially rip apart the relationship she has with her
beloved Kergan family.

Tell me, who are some of your favorite female characters in books and why?

Now I am sure you want to know what's up for giveaway?

Blurb

As a lady in waiting, Olivia of Kergan believed in Destiny...

For the royal family she serves, her destiny is fated in winning what was lost to them so long ago.

Will a mysterious stranger, whose hell-bent on revenge, prevent her and master Julian, from taking what is rightfully theirs.

Here is my review and interview with Ty.

I am so excited, this is my first giveaway, and I am going to make it simple just answer Ty's question and leave your email so I can contact you if you win. The giveaway will last one week so it will end on March 30th and I will announce the winner on the 31st.

About the Author:

Felicity Heaton is a romance author writing as both Felicity Heaton and F E Heaton. She is passionate about penning paranormal tales full of vampires, witches, werewolves, angels and shape-shifters, and has been interested in all things preternatural and fantastical since she was just a child. Her other passion is science-fiction and she likes nothing more than to immerse herself in a whole new universe and the amazing species therein. She used to while away days at school and college dreaming of vampires, werewolves and witches, or being lost in space, and used to while away evenings watching movies about them or reading gothic horror stories, science-fiction and romances.

Review:

What can I say about this book?

From the very first page  Ms. Heaton grabs you with her talent and holds you in thrall through close to seven hundred pages of tense mile a minute romantic drama. ((That's over 157000 words can you imagine?))  Nitpicker me was smiling as I read each fluid and well written sentence. ((I couldn't find an error anywhere!))

I absolutely adore when a book grabs you and turns into a mental movie, and this book did exactly that.  Her descriptions were so vividly drawn of Julian, Lauren and their cast of friends that I could indeed see them. Heck I could almost hear and smell what they did too so well written were the pages. ((and the fight scenes were extraordinarily good.

Ms. Heaton took time to let romance grow as well, and of course when things finally heated up I nearly yelled out a great big Woohoo! ((I like erotica as well as the next person, but erotica just for that sake doesnt work for me, when the emotion and romance has built and I'm invested in the characters its almost divine, and this story had all of that))

I could probably go on and on, but doing so would end up in me revealing too many spoilers, which I won't do. I will say this,  this is not a light snack that leaves you hungry a few minutes later. This story my friends is a full meal that will leave you sated for a long while, only to make you hungry for more of her work ((and yes I will be searching out more of her works to read.))

It has it all, appetizers, first course through the end and dessert. Try it, You'll love it.

Amazon Summary:
Gabriella's past is a mystery, but that never stopped her from achieving her goals. As a supernatural specialist, and far more intelligent than anyone her age, she has always been ignored by her peers. Because of the isolation she has always felt, she put her life and soul into her job. Being a supernatural specialist hasn't given her the divine intervention she always longed for, until one day a shipment arrives from Italy containing three dead bodies with an uncanny ability to regenerate. Gabriella is frightened and intrigued, but not as scared as she becomes when a dark creature attacks her.

As the bodies come back to life, the plot takes an unexpected twist that you won't see coming. The supernatural world only begins to unfold before her as angels appear, her dreams start to haunt her, and the very past she has forgotten comes back with startling clarity. Romance blooms, escape plans are made, an assassin is out to kill her, and death is only around the corner. But what is more terrifying than all of it is the fact she is the chosen one, the Illuminator, the one who will save them all.

Review:
When I signed up for this book, the blurb and the cover drew me in and the fact it was about Angels as well, but to be honest I didn't know what to expect. Let me tell you this book pulled me in from the first page until the very end.

The world-building was huge, and at first I thought oh boy here we go it was going to be drawn out boy I was wrong, This author kept my attention not once did I dream of skipping in fact I was even more eager to read more about the Angels and how they came to be.

I love her take on Angel's as well, definitely not your typical Born from god or once you die you become an angel type of story.

Can I just say I wish I had Gabrielle's job, working to prove or disprove the supernatural, how cool is that? And let me say too if I experienced what she experiences through out the whole book I can't blame her for crying.

As for the characters ones that stuck out for me besides the obvious , was Joseph I loved his sense of humor and even when things didn't go his way, won't say what that is don't want to spoil it for you , he took it like a trooper.

There was a couple jaw dropping moments, I also won't give them away because it would be spoiling for those that haven't read this book.

Not much romance but that's okay - I know you are saying where is Donna and what have you done with her . I liked the teasing and sparky moments. This book did well without hot scenes. "Gasp" I hear all of you now.

Overall I will say I LOVED LOVED this book and would I recommend ? If you love Angels, mixed with intrigue and a bit of teasing romance this book is for you.

Rating 5 out of 5 feathers
