The Demon Kiss Tour Warlock vs Demon Boyfriend by Lacey Weatherford

I am so excited to have Lacey back again for another guest post, check out her topic this time I think you will like it I know I do. Thank you again Lacey for stopping by.

Warlock vs. Demon Boyfriend
You know life is good when you can roll over in the morning and find out that you’re
lying next to a scrumptiously hot warlock. I mean who could ask for more? All those
wonderful looks wrapped with fabulous power to boot, and he’s all yours to mold and to
hold, right?
But what if the worst happened and your delicious warlock suddenly found himself on
the dark side of things and more of a demon characteristic took over? Could you handle
it? Would you miss those soft, sweet, tender moments that happened more often with
your warlock? Or would you be willing to exchange them for quick, heated moments of
passion that could result in a little blood letting?
In The Demon Kiss, Vance starts to take a little bit of a walk on the wild side. He didn’t
do this by choice, of course, so he still battles his inner demon extensively, but he finds
it harder to not give into his temptations. He quickly realizes that his blood cravings are
also tied into his lustful feelings, which makes it even more difficult for him to hold his
control around Portia.

I climbed out of the bed, padded down the hall to his room, and opened
the door.
I gasped in surprised at what I saw.
He was sitting up on the edge of the bed, shaking violently. He lifted his
head as I entered, and the flaming red eyes greeted me.
Instinctively I moved to go to his side, but he held up his hand to stop me.
“Stay there,” he said through gritted teeth. “I don’t want you to come any
closer.”
“What can I do?” I asked helplessly, knowing he was trying to protect me,
but desperately wishing I could just hold him.

“I’ll be okay. The withdrawal is always the worst in the morning when I
wake up.”

A tear ran down my face as I watched him struggle.

“Don’t cry,” he said, clenching his jaw. “Just give me a minute, all right?”

Things tend to get a little rough when you don’t know whether your boyfriend wants
to kiss you or eat you. Am I right? But even though Vance is struggling, Portia never
leaves his side, continuing to adjust to the new realities about him that face her. Yes,
he’s changing a bit, but her love for him overpowers all of that. And even though she
desperately wants him to be well, she also accepts him for who he is.

So, how about you? Would you prefer the perfect, thoughtful, warlock boyfriend? Or
would you want your guy to be a little more on the right side of danger?

I know what my choice would be…

Blurb:
Can someone else's past come back to bite you?
After being drained of nearly all the blood in her body, novice witch, Portia Mullins, wakes

international borders, into a foreign place where they will discover that the black magic which
awaits them is far worse than they ever imagined. Portia finds herself tangled up in a web of lies

Do I really need to answer this question? As Vance becomes more demon like and dangerous, the biting and deliciousness....hmmm, I think I'll take DEMON Vance! Actually, I'll take Vance anyway I can get him - even just a regular Joe with no supernatural powers *gasps* Vance may hate me for saying this (see how he's real in my mind LOL) and I sure as heck wish his life was better but the more tortured and conflicted he becomes, the more swoonworthy he is! I <3 Vance

Hmmmm.. not sure which I would choose, I think it depends on the guy ;)

Hmm well the warlock-boyfriend can be taken home to the parents, demon-boyfriend might be harder to convince my dad that he has good intentions towards me (Italians! oiy!)

Of course I'm old enough to want to live for myself...but I don't know if I like the chance of being eaten...but the passion...I'm abstaining from this vote!

@Belinda LOL...I love that you'd take a human Vance too! I'm right there with ya baby!

@Krysta It is a hard choice! There are things I love about both!

@Lexie HA! HA! Girl you have me laughing! Laid out all the pros and cons...and abstained! LOL

Wow! I must be living under a rock because Lacey Weatherford is a new author for me. I have a lot of catching up to do.

I prefer someone a LITTLE to the right side of danger! Might as well keep things interesting!

Thanks,

I would take him any way as well. Human, warlock, demon, it doesn't matter. I would like warlock Vance to show to friends and family, and demon Vance when it counts ;)

Oh I have been waiting trying to figure out which way I would vote, before I read The Trouble with Spells I would have said demon but after reading TTWS I am leaning towards a Warlock now :).

@Vivien LOL! I love it!! Gooey moments are always a good thing!

@BookLover Welcome!! I'm kinda the same way. My hubby is a good boy who can be a little bit bad. I dated a bad boy who was a little bit good. Both were pretty dang hot! LOL

You are so welcome, I am so happy to have you here again its always so much fun. I will definitely let you know if it changes. :)

BLHmistress, interesting perspective. I have no doubt that you would switch back to demon Vance after Demon Kiss and especially Blood of the White Witch.

I would still LOVE to have their powers.
