Review:
I really enjoyed this sequel to the Shadow of The Sun, I became a fan when I read the first book. It felt good to revisit Gabriella and her quest to get back to her Angel. This book was a wild ride from the get go and let me add I read this with the span of 2 days because I just had to know if she would get back to Andrew.I just absolutely love the characters in this book, it was so good to see Joesph again and I love how Gabriella and Joesph interacted almost like a brother and sister when it came down to their relentless teasing of each other. There was several laugh out loud moments in this book I wish I could mention them but it would give some things away.
But what I loved the most about this book was, it kept you guessing all the way through. I like it when I can't figure out what it is going to happen next and her reunion with her angel left me sighing.
Andrew and Gabriella's love story is intertwined through out the whole story and though you don't get anything more than a few kisses and believe it or not thats just fine. It's more about the romance and its a nice refreshing change. Laura writes it so well you don't miss the hot steamy scenes.
Would I recommend? Yes if you read the first book The Shadow of the Sun then this is a must read and if you haven't you should. I just purchased the third in this series Abyss and can't wait to read it.
