On My Wishlist # 10

Photobucket

On My Wishlist is a fun weekly event hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where I list all the books I desperately want but haven't actually bought yet. They can be old, new or forthcoming. It's also an event that you can join in with too.

Here is another that I have been wanting, but not sure why I haven't gotten yet but lately I have seen it around a lot so I figured it would be time to add it to my wish list.
Sister of the Moon Series by Yasmine Galenorn
I want the whole series but I will just post the first book.

Goodreads Summary:
We're the D'Artigo Sisters: Half-human, half-Faerie, we're savvy - and sexy - operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But our mixed-blood heritage short-circuits our talents at all the wrong times. My sister Delilah shapeshifts into a tabby cat whenever she's stressed. Menolly's a vampire who's still trying to get the hang of being undead. And me? I'm Camille - a wicked-good witch. Except my magic is as unpredictable as the weather, which my enemies are about to find out the hard way...

At the Wayfarer Inn, a portal to Otherworld and the local hangout for humans and beasties alike, our fellow operative Jocko's been murdered. Every clue points to Shadow Wing, the soul-munching, bad-ass leader of the Subterranean Realms. He's made it clear that he aims to raze humankind to the ground, turning both Earth and Otherworld into his private playground. Our assignment: keep Shadow Wing and his minions from creeping into Earth via the Wayfarer. The demons figure they're in like Flynn. After all, with only my 'bumbling' sisters and me standing in the way, how can they miss? But we've got a secret for them: faulty wiring or not, nobody kicks ass like the D'Artigo girls

And with no sweetheart in site for me,I guess I just have to by my own Valentine's - ummmm who to choose to be my book boyfriend for that day Got any suggestions? Anyone?

Kelly's OMW:

I have a list this long ::holding out arms:: of books on my wishlist. Oh gosh, where do I start? If I were to walk into a book store right now, I think I would buy the next Demonica book that I haven't read yet. I will read these books because I really enjoyed the first two and the e-reader novella that was recently released. But as of right now, I don't have them. So yeah, this is what I'd be buying right now.

I'm sure you all know these books by now but just in case...here you go:

"Forbidden Temptations…
Serena Kelley is an archaeologist and treasure hunter—and a woman with a secret. Since she was seven, she’s been the keeper of a powerful charm that grants her health and immortality . . . as long as she stays a virgin. But Serena isn’t all that innocent. And when a dangerously handsome stranger brings her to the brink of ecstasy, she wonders if she’s finally met the one man she cannot resist.
Fatal Desires…
Wraith is a Seminus demon with a death wish. But when an old enemy poisons him, he must find Serena and persuade her to give him the only known antidote in the universe—her charm. Yet, as she begins to surrender to his seductions, and Wraith senses the cure is within his grasp, he realizes a horrible truth: he’s falling for the woman whose life he must take in order to save his own."

So with Valentine's Day right around the corner, will my sweetheart realize my heart's desire and either 1) get me a gift card or 2) buy me this book. Stay tuned loyal readers. Stay tuned.

I've been hearing about Yasmine Galenorn recently but haven't tried any of her books - you'll have to let me know what they're like! :-)

The Demonica series by Larissa Ione is soooo good! Definitely get started on that one (I'm so bad, I have the last one looking forlornly at me in my TBR pile - and I know it's awesome, I just don't have the time).

I've heard good things about Galenorn too, I'm just afraid to even try to mount an attack on another series that far along. :)
