Kelly's : IN MY MAILBOX #11

Photobucket

A weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren, where we post about all the books we have received whether in the mail, if we purchased it, or got it from our local library.

I had a major big book haul this week from my library. I'm very nervous because I don't know if I'll have a chance to read all of these books before they are due back. But I'll give her a go. :) Here we go:

I'm really excited about this book. The reviews on it have been good. It's a THICK book. And it's the first in a trilogy. I started reading this book first, but I'm liking it so much that I think I might just return it to the library and buy my own, especially since it's the first in a series. The first few chapters I read were superb.

So after that, I picked up this book. I'm not sure how I heard about this book but again, the reviews on it have been amazing so I put it on my tbr and it popped up fast on my library wish list which is how I got it. I'm reading it now...I'm about 100 pages in to it. I'll post my review after I'm finished but so far, I can tell you the author's words are RICH. This reminds me a lot of The Thirteenth Tale which is an excellent book.

If you've been following my reviews, you know that I've falled in love with The League Series. This is the third book in the series. I can't wait.

SK lists a story (Fire and Ice) in this book as #4 in The League series. This is why things get confusing. I'll bet you the next book out will be #5 even though it should really be #4 and thus the confusion beigns. SK won't fool me though! I will have read #4!!!

In becoming enchanted with the Dark Hunter world, I met Nick and look at this, SK has written a YA novel with Nick. I'm not expecting much sex in this though. hehehe

Then, in continuing my quest to catch up with Donna and all other Dark Hunter fans, I have these three books, 5, 6 and 7 respectively:

And then, just to keep me on the straight and narrow, you know, the narrow that I promised at the beginning of the year? No more JUST paranormal romance? I gotta read the fiction stuff too. Well, to keep up with that, I also got this book.

So in case you have lost count like apparently I did in the freaken library, that's 9 books I have to read in less than 2 weeks. Can you say YIKES!

I hope everyone has a fabulous Season Finale night of The Bachelor Monday!!!!

I'll be interested in your review of A Discovery of Witches. I want to read it too, but am so snowed under at the moment. Some of the reviews have been mixed, but mostly positive.

I LOVE the League series. Callens book is out next month. I am hoping she does a signing in the Nashville area for it. Love going to her signings. Kenyon's a hoot!
